Frequently asked questions

  • How does the change of address affect my premium?

    Whether and how your premium changes as a result of a change of address depends on whether you have basic or supplementary insurance with us. The premium for basic insurance depends, among other things, on the premium region in which you live. Moving to another premium region may affect your monthly premium. 

    There may also be adjustments to certain supplementary insurance policies, although not all supplementary insurance plans are affected. Any changes in premiums – in your favour or at your expense – will be offset against any outstanding items. You will then receive an updated statement.

  • Will I receive a new policy?

    You receive a new policy when your premium for basic and/or supplementary insurance changes. Whether your premium changes depends on a number of factors. You can find more information under the first question of these FAQs. The policy will be sent to you via your chosen communication channel (post or digital). 

  • The change of address doesn’t affect everyone in the family policy. What do I have to do?

    If the change of address doesn’t affect everyone in the family policy, please contact our customer service team. 

  • When will documents be sent to my new address?

    All documents that were created before the move date you specified will still be sent to your old address. It is therefore possible that some documents may be sent to your old address immediately after your move if they were created before the start date of the change of address stored with us.
