Open the Sanitas Medgate app. Go to “Book a teleconsultation” and enter your symptoms.

Get a recommendation


You receive an immediate recommendation: either for a teleconsultation or to go to your family doctor.

Book an appointment


Recommendation for a teleconsultation: Choose a date and time that suits you. Recommendation to see your family doctor: Enter your doctor in the Sanitas Medgate app, then you can book a consultation with them as usual.

Adjust treatment plan


You can access and adjust your treatment plan at any time. For example, if the doctor providing treatment refers you to a specialist.

  • Who is the Sanitas Medgate app suitable for?

    The Sanitas Medgate app is recommended for all customers who like to get rapid and straightforward advice in the event of medical queries. For Compact One customers or customers who have taken out a telemedicine model for basic insurance, Medgate is always the first point of contact for medical queries, and the initial medical consultation is free of charge.

  • Is the Sanitas Medgate app secure and protected?

    The app complies with current data protection regulations. All data is encrypted and transmitted securely. The full functions of the app can only be used if you identify yourself with your ID and insurance card.

  • Does the app help solve medical problems?

    According to Medgate, telemedicine is often suitable for solving medical issues. In around half of all cases, Medgate is able to treat its patients conclusively via telemedicine. Whether Medgate is accessed by phone or via the app is irrelevant – the medical service is the same. However, access is simpler via the app.
