Accidents happen. With private or semiprivate accident insurance, you have the best possible cover if the worst comes to the worst.
Key benefits
Who is Accident suitable for?
For anyone up to the age of 65 who is only covered for the general ward or does not have accident cover through their employer. This includes, for example, the self-employed, freelancers, part-time employees working only a few hours a week, housewives/househusbands, students, children and young people.
Why it’s a good idea to take out hospital accident insurance
Suva registered over 500,000 leisure accidents in Switzerland in 2023 alone – and a large part of these required hospital treatment. If you work for fewer than eight hours a week for the same employer, you are not automatically insured against accidents in your free time. This also applies to the self-employed, housewives/househusbands, students, children and young people.
