Top employers 2025

Sanitas is once again one of the top employers in Switzerland in 2025 and No. 1 among health insurers.

Once again this year, the Handelszeitung newspaper has published a ranking of the “Top employers” in Switzerland. Sanitas achieved an impressive 9th place out of 250 companies in the overall ranking. Particularly noteworthy is the 1st place among Swiss health insurers. An improvement was also achieved in the “Insurance and health insurance” sector ranking, from 6th place in the previous year to 3rd place.

This ranking of top employers in 2025 is based on an independent survey conducted by the Statista market research institute. The survey includes employers with at least 200 employees in Switzerland. More than 15,000 employees in Switzerland voted in online access panels and completed a survey on the Handelszeitung website. The survey ran from May to July 2024 and over 240,000 ratings were included in the ranking.
