I want answers, so I start the app’s barcode scanner. It quickly identifies my muesli via the barcode on the packaging and displays the price and a red/green circle showing the rating. The more red’s in the circle, the more critical the rating. The free Codecheck app also provides information on ingredients and food intolerances, highlights the pros and cons of the product and displays a nutritional traffic light.
It allows you to check the ingredients of everyday products such as foods and cosmetics. Codecheck’s ratings are based on the expertise of respected experts at independent organisations. Oh no, my muesli contains too much fat and too much sugar! The app automatically suggests a healthier option and shows me where I can buy it online.
